So. I’m back from my hiatus – the unannounced self-imposed thing wherein I went silent for an undetermined period of time.
It’s now 2018. Here are the way things are: I’m waiting to hear back about a job. The process sort of ran away and dragged on over Christmas, and is still running. I’m hopeful to hear back this week.
The Etsy store is still alive, but only barely. There are three scarves in progress, and I think I’ll find some fun new thing to do with the hats so they sell. A note to myself, don’t make super-skinny scarves. There’s the one I’m working up and while it knits fast, it’s also going to be super chunky.
There is a new poetry chapbook in progress. This one, if I can align the poems properly into something resembling a flow, will be out less than a year after I published the first. Still on the self-publish path. Tiny Moments is also now out on Amazon.
Last year I also placed a handful of short stories and poems with various lit mags, as you may have seen on my Publications and Work page. I’m aiming for another year, more prolific in that regard, in 2018.
There’s nothing else I can think of right now. At the moment I’m working on some new routine, some new combination of things that won’t send me resorting to fun day-by-day ramblings every week. There’s a few other projects I’m drawing up, and my careful bullet-pointed schedule is demolished now, but there’s some other things I plan to get done this year.
