i dream of goals, place
them in the parameters
of my mind – watch them.
leave them to gather rust and
dust, visit rarely and dull.
when they are achieved
time to mark them off, take down
the signifiers and move
swiftly on. no looking back yet;
no making time for regret.
have no qualms about
reaching out for something when
it appears: extend
a hand out to it, and grab.
unflinching, solid, achieving.
Interesting reading. Thanks for continually writing a poem for the weekly tanka challenge prompt. Appreciated.

Thanks for the steady prompts – I quite like the tanka, it’s a great way to work my brain and test what I can do 🙂
