Over Coffee (50)

If we were having coffee, I’d have my hand in a bit of bandage. It’s nothing to worry about – I think it’s directly proportional to the amount of time I’ve been spending on loom-knitting, and that the joint of my thumb is suffering a bit for it.

On the bright side I know now how to make cool hats, so.

I’d tell you a bit about all the writing I haven’t been doing and how I’m spending the weekend reading, trying to catch up my Goodreads goal. Just the other day I was lightyears ahead and now I’m lagging behind. Kind of like when I first began going to the gym.

Also, I’ve been doing my German on Duolingo faithfully and it’s scrambled my brain. The other day I somehow was thinking in terms of “writing a hat and knitting a novel” so you maybe get an idea of how my mind has gone a bit strange. Something to embrace, nonetheless.

(And if you know how I can knit a book, I’d quite like that)

Sorry. I’m a bit sneezy today – must be all the stray knitting fibres. I ordered a bundle of new yarn from this place down south; I think the fact that it’s too far to drive is the only saving grace. Right now I’m trying to get rid of some of my stash.

What have you been up to?
