Letters to Euturpe: 33

Once again I found myself stuck for song lyric inspiration. I pored over iTunes and screwed around with the settings, dabbled in some Googling but got impatient fast. I’ve begun a poem tonight, part of an ongoing project, and there’s another 12 lined up. (Projects or poems? You be the judge)

OK, your lyric. The song caught my eye, the lyric is nice and easy: Suspicious  Minds, by Elvis Presley.

We can’t go on together
With suspicious minds
And we can’t build our dreams
On suspicious minds
