no time for
frivolity,
she decides,
and makes herself solemn.
(needlessly so)
she works hard,
too hard,
and comes home worn out.
every day is sensible,
responsible,
doing all she thinks
she should.
one day she discovers
a new interest.
ferociously interested from the
start, she works at it.
when things go right,
she giggles.
