Mosaic

It’s years and years in the making.

Fit together pieces and shards, collect colours in your pocket for months to do it justice. No two pieces are alike, no two colours quite the same. Scale to a frame, make wistful wishful designs every other day.

It’s painstaking, putting us together.

  1. I like this very much indeed. The metaphor, I think the comparison to how we were put together before we were born and how no two human beings are the same. And again ” wistful, wishful”- alliteration in prose ? Great effort !

      1. I always find it helps to do a blog challenge – those have sparked many an idea for me, and the ideas tend to beget ideas.

And for every idea I do write, there’s always one I don’t, or I forget – the brain is tricky like that 🙂

      2. Thank you!

I did study literature – primarily English, with some Ancient Greek and Roman plays thrown into the mix. During my degree I covered Chaucer, Shakespeare, plays/poetry/films, Victorian literature… Essentially, I think, a few thousand years worth condensed into a few short semesters 🙂

I am still an avid reader, too.
